Endless Summer Surf Music Festival 2013

Still focused on quality rather then quantity we present you this year once more a selection of the best bands in the scene today. In our selection we aim for a line-up that is balanced but diverse. This year's line-up has it all!

- We kick off at 17:00 with some sexy lounge and exotica music on the beach provided by the one and only FORBIDDEN ISLAND DJ's. Extremely cocktail proof!

- At 19:30 we unleash the instrumental power of THE O'HARAS, the Belgian ambassadors of Surf-A-Billy.

- At 20:30 your blood temperature will rise once more to the Euro-Instro-Surf of EL RAY. Boy them Danish do know what kick ass means!

- Last but not least THE PHANTOM FOUR will lift you up on a melodical trip throughout eastern melodies. Starting at 21:45 they are the chosen onces to set the mood for dancing and partying all noght long.

- In between these spectacular perfromances two divine bodies by the names of NEFERTARI and AMARANTE will show you what hot bellydancing really means...

- Of course, a party wouldn't be a party if the party's not the whole night long. That's why we'll be shakin', twistin', surfin', groovin', hoppin', and a lot more to the grooves and beats of DJ CAPTAIN KRAAK and DJ JENS 'till 05:00

- Throughout the festival you can enjoy delicous fingerfood, lovely cocktails, a good beer, the beach, the dunes and the North Sea.

About the festival

In 2012 Speedball Jr, Los Venturas and The Voodoo Club decide to gather forces and start the very first surf music festival at the Belgian Coast. Because it had to be a venue with respect to the roots and culture of the music it had to be held on the beach, next to the sea. That’s where Surf club Icarus in Zeebrugge comes in the picture. Providing a nice stage with view on the beach, the dunes and the ocean, this fantastic location only needed the music. And thus on September 1st 2012 The Endless Summer Festival was born

The aim of the festival is to celebrate summer, surf, bikini’s, Hawaiian shirts, cocktails, and damn good music. Instead of saying goodbye to the summer, we emphasize on this last weekend of august that summer’s never over if it lives in your body. Come celebrate with us, have a drink, enjoy the beach, enjoy the music, enjoy the view, enjoy the Endless Summer!

El Ray (DK)

El Ray

Hair raising Instro-Surf from Copenhagen

From Copenhagen, Denmark. Not the most likely place for a band to emerge with the obvious surfing pedigree of El Ray. The band shows a versatility of sound and an ear for catchy, toe tapping melody which takes them beyond the cliches that can often be associated with the surfing genre. Combining a fresh, modern style with a healthy nod to the past, 'surf with a twist' El Ray have managed to achieve a new, classic sound.

Phantom Four (NL)

Charismatic Surf from Amsterdam

The Phantom Four are the follow up to the legendary instrumental surfband The Treble Spankers from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The Treble Spankers did over 500 gigs in The Netherlands between 1993 and 1996, playing packed venues and all major Dutch festivals like Pinkpop, Lowlands, Parkpop, Paaspop, Noorderslag and various “bevrijdingsfestivals”. The band toured Belgium, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and the UK extensively and received major radio airplay on the single “Red Hot Navigator”.

O'Haras (BE)

Kings of Power Surf-A-Billy

Founded in 1995 in Antwerp, Belgium, they are the true kings of Power Surf-A-Billy. Their main mission is to bring over the original surf passion, mixed up with touches of instrumental rough psycho-rockabilly, sixties trash, ska, western, flamenco, jazz ... and all covered with an exoctic sauce of passion, right from the heart.
